CHALLENGE:
Join our Logistics team in a fast-paced growing retail company and be a key element in optimizing our order fulfillment from origin to point of sales/final customers for over 1000 stores in 70 countries. Improving our operations costs, implementing strategies to achieve better service levels and efficiency through process optimization, metrics and KPIs development and constant improvement culture. We are seeking a candidate who wants to create, manage, develop and implement analytics models which help our supply chain planning from sourcing through distribution centers and delivery in stores or end customers.
Be a key element adding value to our fulfillment and distribution network by overseeing shipping forecasts from sourcing clusters for ocean, air and rail cargo, implementing master plan production schedules for our DC network (x6) and setting up right and accurate data for our carriers and last mile deliveries.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Design, analyze, ensure, set, and implement the planning analytics models needed for core sourcing markets to provide our operations team a reliable data-driven tool to ensure cargo departure from factories till fulfillment in our DCs and deliveries in stores/end customers.
* Oversee and plan volumes and resources (headcount, fulfillment equipment, and hours according to clock) needed to perform efficiently, factoring service level agreements on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
* Create specific plans to overcome sales spikes (sales period, D11, and Black Friday).
* Oversee cross-training programs, forecast accuracy, and quality of deliverables on a monthly basis at the DC level.
* Monitor key operational service performance and perform audits to ensure attainment of agreed service levels and quality accuracy in a cost-efficient manner.
* Collaborate with logistics, finance, buying, IT, planning, distribution, expansion, retail, and product management to maximize synergies and efficiencies.
* Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to forecast demand and plan stock levels accordingly.
* Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
* Use data to forecast future trends and adjust planning accordingly.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, or Economics (mandatory).
* Deep understanding of supply chain processes and experience in warehouse operations.
* 5+ years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably in major distribution, retail, forwarders, or consumer goods environment (mandatory).
* Strong analytical ability, results-driven, and people-oriented.
* Proactive personality, with excellent communication, management, and organizational skills.
* Proficient in SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory; Spanish is a plus.
* Time flexibility, proactivity, ability to shift priorities according to business needs, and strong responsibility awareness.
