We are looking for a Junior Backend Developer to join the CIB Team. The project is being developed by a team based in Porto and is mainly responsible for the maintenance and support of the product. The application is composed of front, backend, and batches.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Active participation in Agile development team throughout all of the development cycle;
2. Design and develop testable, efficient and reusable quality code;
3. Share knowledge and suggest improvements in our team routine as well as technical improvement;
4. Prepare, deliver and track platform releases, interacting with other teams;
5. Contribution on both frontend and backend components of the applications.
Main Technical Requirements:
1. Degree in Technology or Computer Engineering (or similar);
2. Knowledge of C# and object-oriented languages;
3. Knowledge of Git;
4. Knowledge of Continuous Integration, XL Deploy, and XL Release;
5. Knowledge of PL-SQL;
6. Knowledge of financial products is a big plus.
Other Requirements:
1. Good level of English - minimum B2 (mandatory); French is a plus;
2. Availability to come to the office 2 days per week (mandatory but flexible);
3. Knowledge in agile methodologies and tools (Scrum/Kanban, Jira) (nice to have);
4. Problem solving, analytical and communication skills required, verbal and written;
5. A real passion for learning, doing things better and helping others – and an ability to turn ideas into reality;
6. Availability to travel abroad for short periods of time, as required;
7. Team spirit, client-oriented and good analytical skills.
