Descrição: We are currently looking for a professional with experience as Senior Software Design Engineer. Are you looking for a new professional challenge?
Responsabilidades:
1. Lead a team of 5 software developers working on BLDC motor control systems;
2. Develop and optimize motor control algorithms using Field Oriented Control (FOC);
3. Drive Model-Based Design (MBD) and simulation efforts to improve software accuracy and performance;
4. Oversee the transition from a baremetal platform to Safety RTOS and AUTOSAR;
5. Lead and implement an automated testing environment in Linux to ensure robust, safety-critical software;
6. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and system architects, to ensure alignment on design and testing strategies;
7. Ensure the team adheres to industry best practices for safety-critical software development, including compliance with ISO 26262 and other relevant standards.
Requisitos:
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field;
2. 8+ years of experience in embedded software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or team lead role;
3. Expertise in Brushless DC (BLDC) motor control and Field Oriented Control (FOC);
4. Strong background in Model-Based Design (MBD) using tools like MATLAB/Simulink;
5. Experience with baremetal development and transitioning to Safety RTOS and AUTOSAR;
6. Proficiency in C/C++ and embedded software development;
7. Experience with automated testing in a Linux environment;
8. Knowledge of safety-critical systems and standards such as ISO 26262;
9. Experience with embedded systems and communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, CANopen, EtherCAT, J1939, UDS, EtherNet/IP;
10. Experience with software development tools such as IAR, Code Composer Studio, Visual Studio, or related embedded IDEs (compilers and debuggers);
11. Experience with UML diagrams used in software design, like sequence diagrams, state machine diagrams and activity diagrams.
