Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Team Leader to lead the operation of a dynamic and complex datacenter infrastructure, serving a portfolio of 20 clients based in France. The selected candidate will manage a team of approximately 30 specialized professionals (L2 and L3 levels), ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, effective backlog management, and incident resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team subdivided into the following areas: Security, Networks, Windows, Linux, Storage and Backups, Virtualization, DBA, and Cloud.
2. Motivate, guide, and develop team members, fostering a culture of high performance and personal growth.
3. Promote a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging accountability and ownership.
Operational Management:
1. Oversee incident management, service requests, and changes related to the datacenter infrastructures of 20 clients.
2. Collaborate with the L1 support team based in Portugal to ensure efficient escalation and resolution processes.
3. Manage and prioritize the team's backlog, ensuring compliance with SLAs and agreed deadlines.
4. Act as the main point of contact for major incidents, coordinating resolution efforts and ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders.
Communication and Coordination:
1. Maintain regular communication with SDMs and SMs, providing updates on operations, incidents, and project progress.
2. Coordinate with other teams and departments to align objectives, priorities, and resource allocation.
3. Prepare and present performance and KPI reports to management.
4. Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency and service quality.
5. Ensure compliance with established procedures, internal policies, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in managing datacenter infrastructure operations or similar environments.
2. Leadership skills, with experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams of up to 30 people.
3. Expertise in incident management, service requests, and change processes.
4. Familiarity with the following areas: Security, Networks, Windows, Linux, Storage and Backups, Virtualization, DBA, and Cloud.
5. Knowledge of ITIL practices and project management frameworks.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to prioritize and manage competing requests in a dynamic environment.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, especially under high-pressure situations like critical incidents.
9. Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of French is an advantage.
