What will be your responsibilities:
1. Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of embedded software engineers, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
2. Project Management: Oversee the lifecycle of space software projects, from ideation to deployment, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
3. Collaboration: Work with stakeholders product managers, engineers, and customers to deliver validated flight software solutions.
4. Innovation: Stay current with agile software development strategies, driving new processes and methodologies.
5. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of software implementations, algorithms, and processes.
Profile and requirements:
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field.
2. 5+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in leadership.
3. Expertise in requirements analysis, solution design, testing, and documentation.
4. Experience with space application software, especially in telecommunications, using TDD.
5. Proficiency in C and Python programming languages.
6. Experience in Microchip and Texas Instruments programming tools.
7. Experience in Hardware instrumentation.
8. Knowledge of system performance evaluation, network simulation, and DSP algorithms.
9. Proficiency in GIT and familiarity with Agile tools like Jira or Trello.
10. Strong problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.
11. Adaptability and attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
12. Proficiency in English; other languages are a plus.
