We're seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our team and help build the world's most loyal travel community.
Your Daily Responsibilities:
* Communicate with customers, providing friendly and efficient support.
* Deal with property damage issues, ensuring a smooth resolution process.
* Handle sensitive issues reported during or after reservations, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
* Analyze customer situations and assess property features to determine liability.
* Identify anomalies and patterns to prevent fraudulent claims.
* Work independently to meet targets and goals, proactively addressing challenges.
Requirements:
* Native or proficient level of French (C2)
* Proficient level of English (C2), both verbal and written
* Strong communication skills, including excellent phone conversation skills, attentive listening, and superior writing skills
* Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail
* Experience estimating contents and automobile/watercraft losses
* A desire to learn and advance, being a curious investigator and problem solver
* High-speed internet access and suitable conditions for remote work
* Minimum 1 year experience handling property damage, insurance, and healthcare claims, as well as dispute/conflict resolution
* Or minimum 2 years of Airbnb Claims experience
* EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Portugal
* Local candidate or willing to relocate to Lisbon, Portugal
