Hotel Manager - River Cruises (Europe) and Portugal
PEOPLECONQUEST – HR is recruiting for one of our clients, an International River Cruise Company operating globally.
Position: Hotel Manager
Job Description:
The Hotel Manager is responsible for coordinating, supporting, and delivering an exceptional guest experience in line with company standards, while fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Uphold and practice company values;
Manage the entire hotel department;
Lead and motivate the crew, particularly management staff;
Oversee check-in and check-out procedures;
Supervise general administrative duties across all departments;
Manage budget and costs effectively;
Collaborate with the nautical department and the company's regional offices;
Address and resolve any concerns from both guests and crew.
Skills/Qualifications:
A diploma from a hotel school or equivalent education is preferred;
Minimum of two years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a 4 or 5-star restaurant and/or hotel;
Cruise ship experience is a plus;
Proven leadership skills and excellent communication abilities;
Strong organizational and computer skills;
Fluency in English is essential.
