Technical Project Manager – Red Software Development Lead delivery.
Drive clarity.
Keep the engine running at full speed.Red Software is a fast-growing development agency helping founders go from idea to MVP — with full design, development, and strategy at ~30% the cost of traditional agencies.
We've shipped over 100 products and continue to scale our services, internal tools, and delivery processes. We're now hiring a Technical Project Manager to take ownership of project execution, delivery discipline, and deadline accountability across multiple builds.
You'll report directly to the COO and play a critical role in keeping our agency sharp, fast, and reliable — supporting both the Product Owner team and our development squad.
What you'll be doing:
- Support and coordinate the Product Owners, ensuring their projects are scoped, scheduled, and delivered on time.
- Own and execute every stage of the project lifecycle — from onboarding and scope definition to delivery and client handover.
- Work closely with the COO to enforce process discipline — ensuring deadlines are met, blockers are removed, and nothing falls through the cracks.
- Collaborate with developers and designers to prioritise tasks, resolve conflicts, and drive sprint momentum.
- Oversee documentation, sprint planning, project dashboards, async check-ins, and proactive communication.
- Handle client updates, progress tracking, and reporting — keeping expectations realistic and delivery timelines sacred.
What success looks like:
- Every project hits its deadlines (or if it doesn't, there's a clear, well-communicated reason why).
- Product Owners are supported, informed, and focused on strategy — not caught in the weeds.
- Projects move with clarity, calm, and urgency — no chaos, no confusion.
- Clients feel confident, informed, and in safe hands at every stage of delivery.
What we're looking for:
- Experience managing technical software projects in an agency or startup environment.
- Deep understanding of the full project management cycle — and a love for running it properly.
- Strong working knowledge of tools like ClickUp, Google Sheets, Notion, Slack, Loom, Figma, etc.
- Excellent communication, time management, and internal coordination skills.
- Able to support a growing team, help maintain structure, and spot gaps before they widen.- You're proactive, fast-moving, and detail-obsessed.
