Wellness Sales Executive

We are looking for a Wellness Sales Executive for Serenity SPA. This position will report to the Global Director of Serenity SPA and will have a dotted line to the Regional Director of Sales.
MISSION:
The Wellness Sales Executive implements plans and initiatives relating to the brand, customer experience, and loyalty in order to drive the organization's brand equity. He/She is also responsible for conducting market research activities to forecast emerging market needs that are relevant for the organization and maximize profits. Build relationships with clients and convert these relations into potential revenue for the spa.
Identifies business opportunities by evaluating prospects' positions in the industry, researching, and analyzing sales options.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Deliver outstanding upscale customer service within the Serenity Spa and on the phone.
* Ability to successfully promote the brand, products, and services offered; knowledge and understanding of all spa services and product lines.
* Upsell clients on the appropriate products based on services conducted.
* Promote/sell Serenity brand products and services to reach monthly goals in each property.
* Monitor Serenity Spa performance and ensure that sales are maximized.
* Effectively solicit and become familiar with all accounts in his/her market segments.
* Responsible for prospecting and closing on assigned wellness and specialized tour operator accounts/territory to positively impact hotel revenues.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key clients to produce hotel guest room sales and spa/wellness services in the wellness market segments.
* Monitor sales activity to ensure that contracts and proposals go out in a timely manner.
* Effectively communicate with all hotel departments regarding wellness schedules and details pertinent to the effective execution of wellness.
* Responsible for development of the hotel-level tactical sales plans specific to the wellness market segment.
* Update action plans and financial objectives on a quarterly basis.
* Conduct daily sales calls and arrange site inspection trips to the hotel by clients, as well as presentations to travel agents that focus on wellness vacations for their clients.
* Able to provide quick and timely responses and develop professional long-term business relationships.
* Support hotels' service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering excellence throughout each customer experience.
* Organize and set up yearly wellness retreats and lecture series, as well as day spa group business with the support of the Director of Sales and Director of Spa.
* Work closely with the Revenue Manager to ensure proposed rate negotiations meet the financial needs of the hotel.
* Represent the hotel at both internal and external sales activities to increase exposure, including solicitation of partnerships with local hotels and residences, third-party concierges, activity groups, and local businesses.
* Partner with Sales/Event/Catering Managers on new group business prospects, site inspections, bridal experiences, and the development of dynamic group proposals and contracts.
* Make proposals and other external sales presentations to prospective customers to solicit, explain, negotiate, and close hotel and spa sales.
* Utilize discretion and authority to negotiate contracts and commit the company with customers and establish agreements with vendors.
* Actively seek opportunities to engage contracted groups using Passkey, as well as FIT guests during periods of lower occupancy.
* Collaborate with the Director of Spa to create, actively improve, and update the Group Wellness & Activities menu highlighting unique activations to drive engagement and capture.
* Identify opportunities for in-house guests to buy and book wellness & leisure activities along the guest journey.
* Ensure Group Wellness & Activities menu and in-house guest offerings remain visible and easily accessible by partnering with Marketing on coordination of collateral and resource needs.
* Oversee sales of Spa Club Membership, including marketing, lead generation, contracting, ongoing promotions, and renewals.
* Support cross-department selling of spa through ongoing communication, training, and internal incentive programs where applicable.
* Attend weekly spa and sales departmental meetings and other scheduled meetings to support business operations, e.g., tentative review, lost business review, pick up, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
* High School Diploma or University Degree.
* 1-3 years of experience in Sales and brands.
* Previous experience in SPA & Wellness.
* Knowledge in SPA & Wellness.
* Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent customer service and sales skills.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and sales software programs.
