Description
- Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting cycles.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning.
- Oversee budgeting across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Design and implement efficient reporting structures to enhance decision-making.
- Collaborate with local general managers to review and validate financial reports.
- Coordinate monthly and annual financial closings with internal and external accountants.
- Align management accounts with statutory financial statements to ensure compliance.
- Serve as the liaison between controlling and accounting, addressing discrepancies and maintaining financial integrity.
- Provide ad hoc financial reports and analyses to senior management and investors.
- Assist in resolving day-to-day financial and operational challenges.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and reporting efficiency.
Profile
- Minimum 7 years of experience in corporate controlling within an international, multi-entity business.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and compliance.
- Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing finance teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to optimize budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting frameworks to drive business performance.
- Background in auditing or financial advisory (Big 4 experience is a plus).
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly Salesforce and Oracle NetSuite.
- Detail-oriented while maintaining a strategic, big-picture perspective.
- Ability to structure complex financial problems and translate them into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
