An international tender procedure is open for 4 (four) teaching positions for Adjunct Professors at the Higher School of Health, in the subject area of Nursing, as determined by articles 15 to 24-A of the Career Statute for Teaching Staff in Polytechnic Higher Education.
Admission requirements:
1. Candidates should hold a PhD in Nursing or the title of Specialist in the same area and hold the title of specialist nurse in the sub-area for which they are applying (Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing or Medical-Surgical Nursing or Child Health and Paediatric Nursing).
2. Candidates with foreign degrees must prove the certification, equivalence, or recognition of the PhD degree.
3. Candidates must meet the general requirements for employment in public functions provided for in Law No. 35/2014, of June 20.
Profile for which the positions are open:
The positions are for the standard teaching profile ‘M’ (mixed profile of teaching, research and service to the University).
Procedure for the submission of applications:
1. The application form for admission to the competition must be submitted together with the required documents.
2. Documents proving the fulfilment of conditions may be waived under certain circumstances.
3. Foreign candidates must submit a declaration on their honour regarding proficiency in Portuguese.
4. Applications must be submitted in paper format and via electronic mail.
5. Candidates must indicate the reference of the sub-area for which they are applying.
Admission to the competition:
1. The Rector will inform the candidates of the order of admission or non-admission to the competition.
2. Failure to submit the supporting documents will determine exclusion from the procedure.
Approval in absolute merit:
1. The jury shall deliberate approval or non-approval on absolute merit.
2. The approval of candidates will depend on holding the required qualifications and a curriculum considered to have scientific merit.
Final ordering of candidates:
1. The jury will submit a signed document stating their ranking of the candidates.
2. Abstentions are not allowed in the voting process.
