Opportunity: P2P Business Analyst
This role aims at simplifying supply management processes for operations through a lean approach. This is a part of the current workstream on ERP process under the shared responsibility of finance and supply management.
The scope is regional, with an initial focus on European.
In this position, you will analyze current supply management processes, identify inefficiencies and their root causes, and implement improvements that enhance operational efficiency. Working closely with teams in Supply, Finance, and Operations, you will develop streamlined and standardized processes that reduce administrative burdens, improve communication, and shorten lead times for key tasks such as order processing and invoicing.
As part of the implementation phase, you will lead workshops, train key users, and support different countries in formalizing and adopting best practices. You will also build a global network of process experts to facilitate knowledge sharing and accelerate the adoption of improvements across regions.
A key aspect of the role is continuous improvement—monitoring performance indicators, enforcing standard practices, and collaborating on the development of supporting IS&T solutions. By taking a proactive and structured approach, you will help ensure that supply management processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with global best practices.
What will you do?
* Select & on-board a team to lead a short-term study to build a root cause analysis for European countries. Leveraging existing inputs from IS&T, supply and finance.
* Map root cause, pain points and country specificities – identify commonalities.
* Draft and propose a plan of concrete actions to improve current processes on below topics:
o PR / PO approval lead time & compliance
o PR / PO specific process alignment with category strategy; P-card approach, etc.
o Good receipt lead time & simplification
o Invoice matching
o Vendor creation process simplification in SAP/supporting systems (ex.D365)
o Prioritize the workplan per country and overall / globally
o Support to define and drive the overall roadmap
o Work with Subject Matter experts and the Delivery Team to identify and assess potential technology solutions available within Sodexo or utilizing external providers.
o Lead the communication and engagement strategy.
What you'll need to succeed?
* Must have a strong knowledge of On-Site operations / segment intimacy
* Ideally have worked in Supply Management for 5+ years
* Experience in lean management and/or six sigma
* Knowledge of operational processes
* Strong knowledge of procure to pay process
* Process driven orientation and experience of working with cross functional teams and global stakeholders
* Experience in supporting change at a senior management level with internal and external stakeholders as well as suppliers
* Project Management experience is a plus
* Fluency in English required; ability to speak other European language is a plus
