Senior Specialist in Trade Compliance

Job Description
As a Senior Specialist in Trade Compliance, you will be part of the Central Export Control (EC) team responsible for implementing effective measures concerning export control regulations and foreign trade law.
You will act as the first level of decision to ensure compliance for Infineon and support delivery performance.
* Define, collect, analyze, and document Export Control-related data to ensure compliance with regulations, identifying inconsistencies, investigating root causes and implementing countermeasures.
* Perform data analytics on End-Users worldwide, providing actionable insights and recommendations to Management to inform business decisions and mitigate compliance risks.
* Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of Export Control-related data through regular audits, data quality checks, and implementation of control measures.
* Provide Export Control expertise to IT project teams, ensuring integration of requirements into system design and development, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks.
* Stay updated on digital trends, identify opportunities to automate and optimize EC workflows, and collaborate on developing digital solutions to improve data accuracy and reduce compliance risks.
* Monitor and respond to changes in global politics, trade policies, and sanctions, offering timely guidance to internal stakeholders and collaborating on contingency plans (including training).
* Provide guidance on internal inquiries related to national and international trade laws, and anti-terrorism regulations (including training).
Your Profile
You demonstrate a strong customer orientation and communication skills that support you in quickly establishing successful relations with others. Additionally, you exhibit a team player mindset, collaborating effectively with colleagues while also working independently to achieve objectives.
You demonstrate high quality standards for your work with the ability to focus on results and meet deadlines.
* A degree in Business Administration, Law, International Relations, Data science or similar field of studies.
* At least 3-5 years of experience preferably in an international and multicultural environment - experience in Trade Compliance is a plus.
* Experience in Data Analytics and Internal Controls.
* Experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office tools – SAP is an advantage.
* Fluency in English – German is a plus.
