For our new Plant in Amarante, near Oporto, Portugal, we are looking for a Procurement Assistant to the development of Fischer Connectors around the world by providing support for all administrative, data entry and analytical tasks of the Group's purchasing department and carrying out purchasing for the Campus in Portugal in order to coordinate and monitor the purchasing process, from the generation of the requisition to the delivery of the products/services and their payment.
What You Will Do In Your Role– Supporting the Group's purchasing activities;
– Maintaining technical data in the SAP information system (supplier files, article database);
– Preparing analysis reports;
– Executing and monitoring purchases for the Campus in Portugal;
– Monitoring orders and deliveries;
– Managing the priorities of its materials portfolio (internal and external);
– RFQ
– NDA
– Negotiating prices;
– Active participation in projects.
The Experience And Skills You Will Bring– Professional experience in an industrial environment (Minimum 2 years);
– Basic training in the areas of Purchasing, Management, Planning, Logistics or similar;
– Facility in managing high volumes of information and correlating complex processes.
– Knowledge of analytical areas such as statistics, data science;
– Knowledge of Excel and SAP (Preferred);
– Strong analytical skills and communication, relationship and teamwork skills with other areas and departments of the company;
– Results-oriented and customer-focused (internal and external);
