For our new Plant in Amarante, near Oporto, Portugal, we are looking for a Import/Export Logisitics Specialist based in Portugal and reporting to headquarters in Switzerland.
The objective of the position is to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness and timely delivery to customers within our global supply chain, and to target Supply Chain Excellence.
The successful applicant will have as main missions to optimize and create global flows within our global footprint (US and EMEA) involving our production sites, customers and suppliers
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN YOUR ROLE:
1. Analyze data, identify areas of improvement to optimize existing logistics flows
2. Import/Export logistics Flows coordination
3. Interaction with different logistics operators
4. Duties & Customs clearance follow-up with forwarders
THE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU WILL BRING
5. Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Commerce;
6. 5+ year working as a Import/Export Logisitics Specialist in an international & multisite environment is a must
7. SAP : 5+ year working on a daily basis
8. Excel : proficiency required, particularly in using Power Query for efficient data extraction and manipulation.
9. Power BI : proficiency required, for data visualization and reporting, transforming complex datasets into actionable insights.
10. English : full proficiency, minimum C1, french is a plus;
11. Effective communication & reporting skills
12. Problem-solving mindset
13. Ability to focus & narrow down large & complex topics
