Job Description
We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Controller in the Widebody (WB) Chief Engineering & Development Programme.
You will be working at the WB Family NRC platform level, overseeing a significant perimeter that covers A350 and A330 aircraft development activities, as well as supporting the Continuing Support NRC process.
This position will focus on managing the transnational controlling NRC planning and reporting processes across two aircraft programmes, multiple functions, and Value Stream Management (VSM) to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of the WB planning processes (AOP, Forecasts) in line with Business Development and Performance Requirements (BDPR) objectives and long-term EBIT ambitions.
Main Responsibilities:
* Drumbeat the financial roadmap for the Widebody Programme and function controlling network through guidance of the released Financial Planning of FCF & FCB.
* Contribute to the Digital Transformation of FCBL and overall Finance to simplify, standardise, and automate reporting and processes.
* Ensure AOP, FC, and Programme Assumption Pack are submitted on time and on quality. Coordinate and discuss data discrepancy with Programme Controllers and ensure data alignment is consistent before submitting the final Budget Baseline Evolution (BBE) to Central Finance.
* Monitor Widebody NRC Outlook vs Actuals, Commitment, Provisions, and Accruals. Coordinate investigations of deviations and corrective actions where necessary.
* Support monthly reporting for the Widebody global NRC perimeter (>1Bn€).
* Evaluate circularity between budget owner planning, local, and central reporting systems.
* Maintain Widebody cost breakdown structure and ensure data quality of master data reference is updated.
* Custodian of Widebody CPN creation, modification, and closure. Maintain up-to-date Widebody CPN list for reference of the whole Widebody Programme community.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or equivalent.
* Knowledgeable in SAP/IFRP and EVM management.
* Excellent English skills in reading, writing, and communication.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance/Controlling or equivalent position.
* Operational experience in Programme Management and/or Engineering an advantage.
* Familiarity with ethics and compliance adherence, including data confidentiality (e.g., Procurement process, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), etc.).
* Full mastery of Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong personal initiative and tenacity to challenge status quo, search for best practice, and successfully implement change.
* Rigour and absolute reliability in managing finance master data and planning processes.
