Your role as a commissioning engineer will involve implementing innovative technologies on different machines, including those powered by natural gas, steam, and hydro plants. How You’ll Make an Impact
* Commissioning of Static and Brushless Excitation Systems, including tuning of Automatic Voltage Regulator and Power System Stabilizer.
* Commissioning of Start-up Frequency Converters.
* Commissioning of electrical protection functions in Power Plants (e.g., Generator Protection, Transformer Protection, Distance Protection, Differential Protection, Overcurrent Protection).
* Commissioning of synchronization equipment.
* Interface and integration of systems with other power plant systems, such as Distributed Control System.
* Preparation, documentation of performance and acceptance tests, and handover to Customer.
What You Bring
* Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related fields such as power plant or energy technology.
* Knowledge of electrical auxiliary systems in Power Plants, especially electrical Generator Systems and Transformers.
* Proficiency in written and spoken English; German is a plus.
* Critical thinking, dynamic performance, empathy, teamwork skills, ability to work under pressure, responsibility, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
* Ability to maintain focus and deliver high-quality work, even under pressure or with less preferred tasks.
* Cultural sensitivity and willingness to work abroad for most of the year.

Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. We focus on zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines, and generators.
The Controls and Digitalization organization is focused on delivering value-creating services and solutions for our customers in the fields of controls, digitalization, automation, and electric. We are focused on Engineering, Innovation, and Digital Transformation.
