The Role
Senior Business Travel Advisor – English Speaker
Remote/Hybrid – Lisbon, Portugal
As a Senior Business Travel Advisor, you will be assisting travelers with best-in-class personalized support and more.
Detailed Duties and Responsibilities
* Build meaningful relationships across global teams.
* Meet and exceed KPIs.
* Follow the company and customer policies, ensuring global compliance.
* Provide feedback to the product and engineering team necessary for product improvement.
* Stay up to date with the travel industry and platform knowledge to deliver unparalleled service and support the company’s success.
* Properly handle hotel, flight, car, and rail bookings.
* Solve issues with any travel or tech-related help they may require, ranging from standard platform queries to last-minute emergency travel situations.
* Guide customers in self-service options on the platform and app.
* Assist travelers with best-in-class personalized support.
Ideal Profile
Targeted Qualifications
* Fluency in English Language, C1/C2 level.
* A team player who thrives in collaborating, giving and receiving feedback and lifting others up.
* Min 5+ years of previous experience as a Travel Consultant covering air, rail, and hotel bookings – Must Have.
* Min 3+ Years of previous experience in GDS “Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo” – Must Have.
* Required to join office team meetings several times per month.
* Metrics-driven as an indicator and motivator of success.
* Flexibility to work on shifts basis.
* Computer literate and confident using tools such as Gmail, Zendesk, Slack and Salesforce as well as our unique, in-house, travel customer service platform.
* Previous working experience in customer service roles, ideally covering travel and hotel segments.
* A skilled communicator who enjoys creating personalized verbal and written communication.
