Credit Controller (M/F) - French with English
The role
As part of the Credit Control team, the Credit Controller will play a key role in building the style, approach and processes.
You will be responsible for the day to day reconciliation of cash received to a number of binding authority agent accounts, and Brokers and you should be customer obsessed and passionate about offering world class service to clients.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to bring enthusiasm and energy to everything you do. You’ll be happy getting on with day-to-day activities but you’ll also bring new ideas to the table. We’re always looking for better ways to do things and you will be too.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Accurate, timely and efficient data entry and quality checking of cash receipts.
2. Responsible for premium collections, cheque deposits, direct debits, commissions payments, discounts and other overpayments.
3. Reconcile differences on client and broker accounts, disburse cash received, help recover and resolve outstanding, overdue debts and manage brokers and partners (banks, mutual funds), according to related to the nature of contracts or the intermediaries.
4. Liaising with internal and external parties to respond to and resolve queries within deadlines.
5. Distribute monthly statements and correspondence of overdue accounts to our clients and resolving questions promptly, with limited complexity.
6. Input regulations in the computer system, treatment of unpaid, in charge of each step of the procedure and clearance of outstanding financial movements, with limited complexity.
7. Analysis of Ageing report and allocated portfolio.
8. Maintain and develop own technical knowledge and expertise, contributing to technical support and procedural best practice and support.
9. Provide support and mentoring.
10. Participate in the implementation of continuous improvements.
What we are looking for:
1. Be a graduate, or have a professional qualification in a finance related disciple.
2. You will have experience in Credit Control.
3. Proficient in written and spoken English and French.
4. Good mathematical analytical skills and ability to analyse complex data with effective decision making in complex business/technical issues.
5. A positive can-do attitude to work, results driven, with the energy and determination to succeed in a very fast paced environment where the pace and quality of response are critical to success.
6. Strong writing and editing ability, with attention to detail. Producing high quality work when under pressure. Ability to prioritise and organise your workload in order to meet tight deadlines.
7. Being patient and respectful to our clients and then professionally firm and determined to recover debts.
8. Good Excel and Outlook skills.

Terms and Conditions:
1. Role on a 35 hour per week contract.
2. Contract in hybrid model (2 days per week at the client's premises).
