Job Title: Unit Manager
We are seeking a passionate Unit Manager to join our team in the Algarve region, Portugal.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise work at all levels and set clear objectives.
* Plan activities and allocate responsibilities to achieve an efficient operating model.
* Support in managing budgets/expenses, analyzing and interpreting financial information, and monitoring sales and profits.
* Develop and implement a strategy to promote hotel services effectively.
* Communicate with customers, address their complaints, and provide solutions to problems.
* Deal with maintenance issues, staff shortages, or equipment malfunctions.
* Collaborate with external parties such as suppliers and event planners.
* Inspect facilities regularly and enforce health and safety standards.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Operational Manager, preferably in a 4/5-star environment.
* F&B background is required.
* Fluency in Portuguese and English.
* Understanding of hotel management best practices.
* Working knowledge of MS Office and hotel management software.
* Excellent customer service skills and business mindset.
* Demonstrable aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
* Reliable with ability to multitask and work under pressure.
* Outstanding leadership skills and attention to detail.
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel/Hospitality Management, or relevant field.
