Cybersecurity Expert Job Description
You will join a globally networked team of around 4300 colleagues operating in over 50 countries as part of our new company setup.
Your contributions will include:
* Designing and implementing secure network architectures, systems, and applications to mitigate risks and protect against cyber threats.
* Developing and implementing incident response plans to address security breaches and cyber-attacks promptly and effectively.
* Identifying and prioritizing vulnerabilities in systems and applications in direct cooperation with cyber intelligence providers based on defined protection requirements for suspicious activities, intrusions, and breaches using various tools and technologies.
* Conducting regular security audits to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards and implementing necessary security controls.
* Investigating security incidents, analyzing root causes, and recommending improvements to prevent similar incidents in the future.
* Developing and enforcing security policies, procedures, and guidelines to govern the organization's security posture and ensure consistency in security practices.
* Providing training and awareness programs to employees to educate them about cyber threats, security best practices, and their role in maintaining a secure environment.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have:
* Proficiency in network security concepts, protocols, and technologies, as well as familiarity with industry-standard security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), antivirus software, SIEM systems, etc.
* Ability to conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments and profound experience with incident response tools and techniques.
* Very strong problem-solving skills to identify and address security issues effectively and the ability to analyze security incidents, assess risks, and recommend appropriate countermeasures.
* Capability to prioritize security tasks based on risk assessment and business impact.
* Excellent communication skills to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders, in combination with strong teamwork and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Recommended: relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISM, etc.
