This role involves managing HR operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting employee engagement and performance management.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in fostering a positive workplace culture while driving HR initiatives that align with business objectives.Hours Per Week: 40Days Per Week: Monday to FridayContract: 12 months fixed term contractLocation: Tondela, ViseuDay-to-Day ResponsibilitiesHandle administrative processes for hiring, onboarding, and employee departures, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.Maintain and update individual employee records and manage documentation, including employment contracts.Oversee employee attendance management and ensure accurate payroll processing.Support employee engagement, motivation, and recognition initiatives.Coordinate recruitment processes to ensure the right talent is hired.Implement and manage performance appraisal systems.Facilitate training programs and assess employee development needs.Promote a culture of innovation, internal communication, and continuous improvement.The EssentialsBachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.Strong proficiency in HR-related software and user-friendly computer skills.Strong verbal and written communication abilities.Innovative and solution focused.Ability to analyse and critically evaluate information delivering excellent decision making.Proactivity and leadership capabilities.Strong sense of responsibility and ability to plan both short- and long-term.Methodical, rigorous, and detail-oriented.Willingness to learn, openness to change, and a continuous improvement mindset.Working at ALSOur people drive our success at ALS.
