Engineer | Aircraft Aerodynamic AnalysisWe are an Engineering and Product Development Center that conceives, develops, and productizes new technologies, products, and services towards a more sustainable society.We work by bridging together cities, industry, and universities around large programs of development and industrialization of products and services, from Portugal, in high-tech sectors such as mobility, aeronautics, and space.This opportunity for an Engineer | Aircraft Aerodynamic Analysis (m/f/d) will be integrated into the Aeronautics team.ResponsibilitiesDevelop tools/methodologies (analytical, models, etc.) to support the aerodynamic analysis processPerform calculation and validation steps for components/products under provided load casesPrepare and develop representative FE models from CAD geometries to perform CFD analysisCritical post-processing and reporting of analysis’ results to detect errors and apply/propose correctionsIdentify issues and propose/develop improvements to meet established requirements, targets, or to solve problemsProvide the manager with any requested information for planning, execution, or control of technical activities such as:The activities’ plan definition and the reporting and tracking of project tasks’ statusProvide work estimates and projectionsIdentify goals and requirements as well as determine the most appropriate analysis for each case (analytical, numerical, mixed, etc.)Alert to potential problems, deviations, and needsSupport the test and certification campaigns required to achieve aircraft certificationContribute towards the creation of project reports and any other relevant certification documentationQualificationsMSc in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, Mechanics, or equivalentProven experience with aerodynamic calculation tools and processesPrevious experience with CFD tools (Ansys Fluent, Altair Acusolve), MSOffice (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), or similarGood programming skills in C++, Python, Fortran, and VBAGood knowledge of materials and production techniquesHands-on experience with CAD software (CATIA, Siemens Nx) is a plusGood interpersonal skills to work within a diverse team, in rigorous and demanding projects, where analytical and critical thinking, as well as problem-solving skills are essentialBenefitsWorking in a relaxed and positive environment alongside a dynamic, multidisciplinary teamWe facilitate and promote a balanced and healthy lifestyle, articulating work with personal lifeHealth insurancePartnerships with gyms, amongst othersThree additional vacation daysBirthday off
