What you’ll do:
As an IT Solution Owner Associate, you will work in a worldwide agile team (level 3 support) and use your technical expertise to operate SAP's service and support solutions with the necessary reliability. From the IT Operation hub in Lisbon, Portugal, you will closely work together with the other hubs in Americas and APA. You can quickly grow in gaining expert knowledge on new technologies and root cause analysis and optimization secrets. This is your opportunity to grow if you have already proven your expertise and skills in level 1 and level 2 support teams.
The Role:
You will operate, administrate, and design systems architecture, applications, products, services, and data to optimize and automate SAP’s business processes to improve work efficiency. You will engage with business stakeholders and other technology teams to deliver solutions to business requirements. Facilitate the system/service/product lifecycle, and ensure stable, secure, performant, and highly available operations. You will engage with the business in an agile way. Revise and update existing programs and provide required documentation.
Key tasks are:
* Planning, setup, implementation, and operation of SAP technologies
* Definition of technical operational concepts and guidelines for the implemented SAP landscapes including respective documentation
* Implementing Early Watch Alerts for system maintenance
* Supporting the Agile coach as a backup for the different time zones
* Diving into new technologies - knowledge transfer within the team
What you bring:
* 1-3 years of work experience with SAP
* Experience in SAP Technology (ABAP, Java) and Strategy
* Experience in implementing Early Watch Alerts
* Ability to work effectively in international and virtual teams
* Strong communication skills and experience in cross-country collaboration
* Experience in consulting and customer handling
* Capacity to continuously acquire new knowledge in an independent, proactive way
* Good analytical and solution-oriented thinking
