Reporting directly to the Supply Chain and Procurement Manager, you will be required to work as an integral part of the team.

Job Summary
The Category Manager supports the strategic and tactical aspects of indirect (OPEX) category-specific procurement activities. This role focuses on ensuring the effective management of supplier relationships and purchase order processing within designated product categories. This position plays a crucial role in driving procurement efficiencies, contributing directly to the overall performance and profitability of the organization.
Key Tasks & Activities
1. Acts as the primary contact for suppliers, handling communications and procurement-related interactions to ensure timely delivery and resolution of any procurement-related issues.
2. Issues and manages purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in terms of product specifications, pricing, and procurement delivery timelines.
Contract Administration
1. Supports the negotiation and administration of contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions and facilitating renewals or modifications as needed.
Performance Tracking and Reporting
1. Monitors supplier performance against established metrics such as supplier delivery times, quality standards, and cost compliance, providing regular feedback.
2. Collects and analyzes data related to procurement activities, creating reports to help track spending, savings, and compliance with operational targets.
Cross-functional Collaboration
1. Works closely with other departments, such as Finance and Quality Assurance, to align procurement strategies with broader organizational goals and objectives.
Who We Are Looking For…
Background and Experience
1. Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
2. 2+ years of experience as a Category Manager in the Procurement area.
Technical Skills
1. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
2. English and Portuguese language proficiency (mandatory).
Interpersonal Skills
1. Effective Negotiation.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers.
3. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
4. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
5. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
