Your Mission
As a Senior Auditor, you'll be hired by our PwC Services Portugal Office, located in a modern area of Porto.
You will play an important role in working with international iconic clients like Asset Management, Banking, Insurance, Alternative (Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Debt Funds…), and IPS (Industrial and Public Sector), which are crucial actors in the economy.
Be a part of our team of solvers where you will (specific responsibilities include but are not limited to): Provide and support auditing services for clients in the Asset Management, Banking, Insurance, Alternative (Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Debt Funds…), and IPS (Industrial and Public Sector) Industries.Help to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.Engage proactively and coordinate on-site fieldwork with clients to ensure the delivery of the best auditing experience.Use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current industry or sector trends.Build, maintain, and be one of the key contacts for your clients regarding the audit and regulatory services provided to them.Be responsible for the coaching, engagement, and supervision of junior colleagues, playing a key role in their development.Maintain close contact with other members in different parts of the firm to focus on providing high-quality client service.Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems.Exhibit a high sense of attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical skills, and a practical awareness of the impact of regulatory and risk management on business processes and controls.About Let's talk about you.
If you have/are … A minimum of three years of experience in audit, ideally in an international audit firm where you have gained relevant experience.Experience with relevant standards, e.g.
IFRS.Experience in coaching and supervising junior staff.The skills to pay attention to details, problem-solving under tight deadlines, and analytical skills.Able to create long-lasting relationships with clients and be the main point of contact.Able to work independently but willing to take the extra mile to integrate and develop junior colleagues.Open-minded, practical, and agile with change.Fluency in English.
The ability to speak French, German, or Spanish will be considered a strong advantage.You are preparing for a professional qualification (e.g.
