Job Description:
Verisure (in Portugal known as Securitas Direct) is seeking a talented, hands-on and passionate Senior GL Accountant to strengthen our France-based Finance Team. This position will report hierarchically to the Shared Services Center Manager, based in Lisbon and functionally to the accounting manager based in Antony (Paris) France.
The role is based in our office in Lisbon.

Responsibilities
This pivotal role will work directly with the French entity, which stands as one of the company's most flourishing markets. Collaborating closely with our thriving French operations, you will play a key role in supporting and further enhancing our financial processes.
As a full member of the French GL accounting team, responsibilities will include, among others:
1. Booking and checking of all types of accounting entries in scope and the GL accounting cycles
2. Management and follow-up of fixed assets and amortization
3. Taking part in the GL analysis and reconciliation of both balance sheet and P&L accounts in the context of monthly closings as well as taxation issues
4. Assist with group reporting into Hyperion Financial Management
5. Active participation in both statutory audit (PWC) and internal audits within scope
6. Strong involvement in the monthly/quarterly/yearly closings
7. Possibility to respond to specific needs from other accounting processes (Cash Management / AP / AR ….)
Candidate Profile
Experiences and Qualifications
We believe that you are/have:
1. University degree, preferably in Accounting & Finance, Management, Economics or similar
2. Good knowledge of Accounting, intercompany processes, Tax issues, IFRS
3. Around 5 years in a similar position with experience in group reporting (mandatory)
4. Good level of French is mandatory, in addition to good knowledge of either Portuguese or English
5. Experience as an ERP user (ORACLE, SAP, SAGE)
6. Good MsOffice skills (particularly in Excel)
7. Detail-oriented and able to solve problems
8. Ability to prosper in a dynamic international/multicultural complex environment
9. Flexibility and ability to work autonomously
10. Eager to learn and grow with the team
