Skills and experiences
1. Data scientists with deep understanding of business issues faced by our clients and consulting experience with significant client impact and value creation
2. Advanced statistics software (SAS, SPSS, R) and advanced modelling techniques (statistical modelling methods, time series, text mining and optimization) to solve business problems
3. Microsoft Professional Program Certificate in Data Science
4. Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Cloudera, NoSQL, Cassandra, Pig)
5. Software development skills in one or more high-level languages (C#/C/C++/Java/F#), one or more scripting languages (Python/Perl/Shell)
6. Experience with AWS or Azure and data querying tools (SQL and visualization tools, Tableau, Qlikview)

1. Support project teams in developing solutions for Avanade's clients driven by exploratory data analysis
2. Devise solutions to client business problems that leverage data-driven analytical techniques
3. Execute practical predictive analytics, machine learning and data mining techniques
4. Develop and interpret statistical models
