Mission of the Role: as a Senior Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for all financial transactions including preparation of compliant financial and tax statements, leading the accounting processes, and providing guidance, support, and oversight to the Corporation in the areas of accounting operations. The role will be accountable to apply and reinforce general accounting standards, tax legislations, regulations and Visteon's policies & procedures.The position will also be responsible for working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, to deliver high-quality results that meet business requirements, towards the achievement of Visteon’s strategic objectives.
Key Objectives of this Role :
1. Oversee all company accounts, ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded and reported;
2. Ensure overall quality control of financial postings and financial master data;
3. Perform financial reports and analysis (VAT declarations, INTRASTAT, income tax, financial statements, annual accounts, etc.) in a timely manner;
4. Monthly accrual of provision;
5. Preparation and control of balance sheet reconciliation;
6. Prepare different reports and ad-hoc analysis;
7. Budgeting and forecasting;
8. Assess the level of compliance with the government regulations, applicable procedures, adequacy of controls, efficiency and effectiveness of operations, and accuracy of reported information;
9. Take part and control all the accounting activity of the company;
10. Communication with local and foreign tax authorities;
11. Communication with local and foreign service providers: external auditors, secretaries, administrative and corporate service providers, banks, etc.;
12. Participate in the implementation and maintenance of internal accounting policies and procedures in accordance with local and international best practice and in line with the Group internal policies;
Qualification, Experience and Skills:
13. Degree in Finance or Accounting;
14. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Accounting, Audit or similar (preferably at a Big 4);
15. Excellent command of written and spoken English;
16. Very good understanding of accounting requirements, tax statutory reporting, VAT and complex organization setup and tax planning;
17. Ability to analyze data, develop management reports, budgets, forecasts, ad-hoc reports, etc.;
18. Diplomatic and negotiation skills;
19. Ability to demonstrate a solid business acumen;
20. Self-motivated personality with problem-solving attitude;
21. Ability to work in a changing environment.
