Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced EMEA Public Relations Manager with focus on the German market. The PR Manager will be based in Lisbon being part of our Global Communications Team and reporting into the EMEA Communications Director.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement PR strategies: Create and execute effective public relations campaigns that align with the global communications strategy, focusing on the German market.
* Media relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key German media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure media coverage in top-tier publications.
* Press releases and content creation: Write, edit, and distribute press releases, articles, and other PR content that communicate our brand messages effectively.
* Media event management: Organize and manage press interviews, media briefings, and other events to generate positive publicity.
* Social media engagement: Collaborate with the social media team to amplify PR campaigns.
* Monitoring and reporting: Track media coverage, analyze PR campaign effectiveness, and provide regular reports to management.
* Agency management: Liaise with PR agencies, if applicable, to coordinate efforts and ensure consistent messaging and successful campaign execution.
Requirements
* Extensive experience in external communications, corporate communications, or a related field.
* Fluency in German required (native or Business Advanced level required).
* Fluency in English (Written and Spoken).
* Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and messages.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain media relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience working in the tech, CX or SaaS industry.
* Proven track record of successful PR campaigns and media placements in Germany.
* Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable communication plans.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence at all levels of the organization.
* The ability to get executives excited about media opportunities and drive their engagement.
