Adecco Recruitment is looking for a Southern Europe General Ledger Manager to join a medical technology company .
Corporate Responsibilities
Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting close; Develop and maintain financial record keeping and reporting systems; Preparing and reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations; Review bank reconciliations and corporate credit card reconciliations; Assist with the quarterly review and annual audit; Develop, implement, and maintain internal financial controls and procedures; Researching accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles. Statutory & Local Responsibilities
Prepare annual Gaap to Stat bridge; Support Corporate accounting and tax requests related to Italy; Ensure accurate and timely Tax returns and fiscal declaration; Liaise with the accounting provider to ensure accurate and timely statutory filing; Be the voice of Finance locally; Liaise with the payroll provider to encore that payroll is performed timely and accurately; Perform all the accounting entries related to payroll. Qualifications
Master degree & Accounting certification preferred; More than 7 years of experience in accounting in an international (or American) environment; Good knowledge of Italian Gaap and Italian fiscal requirements; People Management experience is required; Experience working with Oracle, EPM; Solid written and verbal communication skills of English and Italian.
