Strategic Analyst for Direct Materials Procurement
* Purchasing Controller role within a new, globally networked company with around 4300 colleagues in over 50 countries.
* Contribute to setting up and further developing an independent unit as a sustainable core business.
About the Position
The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing purchasing data, generating insightful reports, and proposing measures to improve performance and competitiveness. They will also track and support cost center planning, plan schedules, and prepare reports using up-to-date IT tools.
In addition, the Purchasing Controller will contribute to introducing new controlling tools, perform detective controls, and ensure compliance with laws and internal regulations. They will also actively support process excellence in purchasing.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has a university degree or completed vocational training with qualified further training and extensive subject-specific additional qualifications. They are self-motivating, self-organized, and able to work under time pressure. The candidate should have experience in purchasing controlling or controlling with insights into purchasing and procurement processes, as well as an excellent command of relevant tools such as SAP, Excel, Power BI.
A very good command of written and spoken English is required, as well as willingness to travel. The manager will be located in Germany, and English proficiency is essential.
