Responsible for implementing Brand and touchpoint Strategy in local language through translations/localizations ensuring ROI optimization.
Ensure effective and successful translation processes in regions and countries.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and coordinate translations through the translation agency and country reviewers, ensuring quality and following their lifecycle.
2. Manage localization activities (incl. SEO implementation), including project planning, coordination, delivery, and reporting.
3. Improve localized content quality and standards of operation for developing translation databases and glossaries.
4. Identify challenges and inefficiencies in workflow and systems, collaborating with the translation agency and internal stakeholders to find pathways to improvement.
5. Plan, scope, and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Qualifications:
What distinguishes you:
1. University degree in translation studies.
2. Minimum 3 – 5 years professional experience in managing translations in a corporate environment.
3. Proficient in the usage of TMS tools, particularly Trados.
4. Team player with good communication skills.
5. Self-sufficient and self-organized with experience in project management.
6. Fluent in English (written and spoken).
7. Interested in AI tools and eager to keep up with technological developments in the field of translation.
