Our client, a multinational asset management, just established a branch in Lisbon. The Business Analyst/Project Manager will be part of the Luxembourg team, working independently on projects.
Your Responsibilities will be:
* Support for Project Design and Implementation:
o Actively participate in the design and planning phases of projects, contributing to strategy discussions and project scoping.
o Monitor resource allocation, timelines, and project milestones to keep initiatives on track, anticipating and addressing challenges proactively.
* Business Analysis and Requirement Gathering:
o Lead requirements-gathering sessions, working closely with business stakeholders to capture functional and technical needs.
o Document and analyze business processes, creating visual diagrams and business process models to facilitate clear understanding and communication across teams.
o Conduct workshops and meetings to ensure alignment on project goals, process changes, and deliverables.
* Process Management and Optimization:
o Assess and document new or existing business processes and work in close collaboration with the business functions.
o Design and implement new or improved processes, using best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across operations.
o Develop process documentation, including workflows and procedural guides, to support process adoption and compliance.
o Evaluate process performance, implementing corrective actions as needed to optimize outcomes and minimize risk.
* Data Analysis and Reporting
* Stakeholder Communication and Coordination
Your profile:
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
· Minimum 2–5 years of experience in project and or process management or a similar analytical role, ideally within a fast-paced environment (Big4 and or Asset Management experience is a plus).
· Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
· Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to build and maintain strong relationships in an international business environment.
· Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and handle multiple projects.
· Proficient at reporting on project status, progress, and outcomes to various stakeholders.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (mandatory); knowledge of German and/or French is a plus.
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel (including VBA), and PowerPoint; experience with additional Microsoft tools such as PowerBI or Power Automate is a plus.
· Experience with Project Management and Process Management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, MS Project, ADONIS, etc.) is considered an advantage.
