Functional Data Architect Role
We are seeking an experienced Functional Data Architect to join our team.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Producing conceptual and logical data models and understanding where to use different types of data models.
* Understanding different tools and comparing between different data models.
* Reversing engineering a data model from a live system.
* Understanding industry-recognized data modeling patterns and standards.
* Producing, maintaining, and updating relevant data models for specific business needs.
Data Standards
The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and setting data standards for an organization, communicating the business benefit of data standards, and governing those standards across the organization.
Metadata Management
The successful candidate will understand various metadata management tools, design and maintain appropriate metadata repositories, and work with metadata repositories to complete and maintain them.
Data Communication
The candidate will use the most appropriate medium to visualize data, telling compelling and actionable stories relevant for business goals, presenting, communicating, and disseminating data appropriately and with high impact.
Data Governance
The ideal candidate will understand data governance and how it works in relation to other organizational governance structures, participate in or deliver assurance of a service, recognize and exploit business opportunities, and explore new ways of conducting business and organizational processes.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have good level of English and experience working with business and technology stakeholders to translate business problems into data designs, creating optimal designs through iterative processes, aligning user needs with organizational objectives and system requirements.
