Responsibilities
Sourcing and Procurement
1. In coordination with business functions such as IT, Finance, HR, Legal, etc., identify the need to organize and execute purchasing activities, collaborating with Procurement strategy and Indirect Procurement Category Managers.
2. Based on supplier market research and analysis of suppliers' expenditures, frame relevant sourcing recommendations and select services that fit business requirements.
3. Source, negotiate, and run the Indirect Procurement tendering process that meets budget, schedule, quality, technical, and ESG requirements.
4. Ensure Indirect Procurement activities comply with Group Supply Chain Policies and Processes, including contracting, ethics & compliance.
5. Run and/or participate in suppliers' evaluation.
6. Timely update the Contract database.
7. Manage contracts properly, ensuring timely issuance of Purchase Orders to suppliers.
Lead the Tendering Process
1. Understand commercial/contractual requirements related to services required by the Company.
2. Timely qualify suppliers.
3. Issue requests for information/proposal/quotations.
4. Analyze offers and identify areas for improvements and clarifications.
5. Develop recommendations for bidder selection.
6. Document the tendering process.
7. Conduct tactical management of the procurement process appropriately.
8. Ensure proper communication and engagement with internal stakeholders.
Contractual and Commercial Negotiations
1. Lead negotiations with vendors using package strategy and leverage.
2. Perform financial/commercial analysis to identify risks and opportunities.
3. Manage claims and improvement plans with suppliers.
4. Conduct internal contract checkpoints to minimize risks and leverage new opportunities.
Contribute to Global Supply Chain Effectiveness
1. Support implementation of category management at local or global level.
2. Execute contract and supplier management with special focus on strategic sourcing.
3. Identify and escalate issues with strategic suppliers.
4. Support Indirect Procurement Category Managers and/or stakeholders in supplier rating.
5. Provide and develop knowledge insights of the market (suppliers, innovations, trends, risks, and opportunities).
6. Run procurement analytics and update them regularly: expenditures and suppliers' panel, saving tracking, quantitative and qualitative KPIs.
7. Become a partner of internal stakeholders, ensuring good relationship and communication.
Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Bachelor's Degree in Management, Engineering, or similar.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role (indirect purchasing), preferably in a listed company operating globally.
* Past exposure to ERP implementation is a plus.
