TasksThe Production IT Engineer for Aircraft and Engine Components technically ensures a digital, unimpeded, user-centric and cost-efficient process flow for maintenance and repair operations of the start-up of Lufthansa Technik Portugal in accordance with aviation regulations.
Responsibilities and Tasks include but are not limited to the following:
Support production in implementing standardized processes and business logic into digital solutions for aircraft repairs with the Process Architect and project team (maintenance, engineering, etc.)Assist in integrating data-driven services into the digital ecosystem, following IT guidelinesProvide guidance before troubleshooting and support for IT systems (e.g. Enterprise Resource Planning) and hardwareMaintain and update dashboards in collaboration with IT providers, aligning with operational needsDocument changes, assist with user training, and support self-sufficiencyAnalyze processes, contribute to automation efforts, and support continuous improvementSupport projects with operational and administrative tasksRequirementsWe are seeking an enthusiastic Production IT Engineer to support digital solutions in aircraft component repairs. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, ensure system reliability, and drive continuous improvement in the aviation industry.
Graduate/Bachelor in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or Business ITMinimum 1 year of experience in software development or related environmentsGood written and spoken Portuguese and English skillsExpertise in data, programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, SQL), Cloud technologies (e.g. Openshift) and databasesExperience with Microsoft Office, Power BI, Power Apps, and low-code tools is a plusBasic knowledge in requirements engineering, process modeling and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skillsPlease send your application in English.
