Cloud Architect - Public Cloud
This role requires a cloud architect to design and develop cloud applications used by millions of customers. The architect will work closely with the CTO to ensure delivery to Azure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Translate project requirements into enterprise-grade cloud architectures.
* Evaluate high levels of resiliency, security, and availability patterns.
* Participate in development to production, improving the solution at each stage.
* Engage with senior leadership and project stakeholders to discuss opportunities, costs, and risks associated with platform architecture and implementation.
* Apply regulatory requirements (Banking, Data Privacy) to project requirements and architecture.
Work Experience:
* At least 6 years of experience in software development projects.
* At least 3 years as a cloud architect with one of the major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP, IBM).
Education:
* Engineering degree or equivalent working experience. Certifications in Azure or AWS are a plus.
Technical Requirements:
* Expert knowledge of one cloud provider (Azure preferred, AWS, Google Cloud).
* Familiarity with Banking, Data Privacy regulations.
* Good understanding of Cloud Native application design.
* Familiarity with micro-service architecture patterns.
* Knowledge of event-driven architecture patterns is a plus.
* Certifications in Azure are mandatory.
Soft Skills:
* Good English language skills (written and spoken).
* Strong analytical and organizational skills.
* Responsible and committed team player.
Nice to Have:
* Spanish language skills (written and spoken).
