What you’ll do
As a DevOps Engineer, you will work in a team in Lisbon on business-critical projects and develop, configure, test, rollout, and partially operate new cloud-based microservices. The team operates as a Scrum team in an Agile Release Train (SAFe), closely collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders from all departments involved in the end-to-end solution. Your responsibilities will include:
* Work within a self-contained Scrum team and inside an ART (SAFe);
* Transform high-level business requirements into low-level software designs;
* Develop software components, define & automate unit tests and integration tests;
* Compose components into solutions that can be delivered as a bundle;
* Set up and maintain the delivery pipelines (CI/CD) for solution bundles;
* Monitor and analyze solutions continuously;
* Support less experienced team members and provide guidance.
Who you are
* A technical degree (M. Sc.) or equivalent experience;
* Minimum of 2 years in a development role;
* Experience in Web and App technologies;
* Good knowledge of AWS basic technologies (API Gateway, Lambda, EKS, S3, VPC, CloudWatch, Elasticache, etc.). Best case, some AWS certifications;
* Good understanding of cloud-native concepts, serverless, and container-based designs;
* Good knowledge of Python and associated development tools (IDEs, Testing tools, GitHub, etc.);
* Experience with infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, Terraform);
* Experience with automating full CI/CD pipelines;
* Passion for working in a self-contained and empowered Scrum team and experience with the Scrum framework;
* Portuguese/English language proficiency.
