Job Description
We are looking for a Middle/Senior Python Developer to join the project for a Top-5 US retail broker (by the number of users). The project is devoted to trading experience, finance reports, and risk management.
You will join a cross-functional team that excels in getting features done from zero to production.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient finance services using Python.
2. Implement versatile finance reporting pipelines.
3. Implement integrations for internal and external finance services.
4. Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance an existing system.
5. Research and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (located in the US and Canada) to define, design, and ship new features.
Qualifications
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 4+ years of proven experience as a Python Developer (experience in the FinTech sector is a plus).
3. Strong understanding of at least one of these frameworks: Django, Flask, FastAPI.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
5. Substantial communication and teamwork skills.
6. Upper-intermediate English.
Knowing these technologies will count as a plus:
1. Data engineering technologies (Apache Spark, PySpark, Airflow, and Presto).
2. Experience with cloud services (preferably AWS) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
3. Experience in live coding sessions during an interview.
