Our Unit in Ovar
The Bosch unit in Ovar belongs to the Building Technologies division, which focuses on bringing innovative solutions to the market that shape the smart cities of the future. Our company develops and produces cutting-edge security and communication systems, fire alarms, electronic displays, robotic lawn mower & E-bike components. With about 1,200 employees, our success lies in our highly specialized and innovative team and technological know-how.
Your Contribution
You will be defining global reporting processes, master data setting, concepts, and controlling reports as an interface between IT and operational business.
Responsibilities
1. Defining global reporting processes, master data setting, concepts, and controlling reports as an interface between IT and operational business
2. Understanding technical (ERP/BI systems) and operational requirements for business management
3. Preparation of cost-effectiveness calculations and recommendations for possible solutions
4. Supporting product development team implementing requirements in our BI systems with focus currently on SAP BW (later on in SAP datasphere, once SAP S/4HANA is implemented) and ensuring requirements of ERP system
5. Global coordination on planning solution and development of SAP S/4HANA project team for SAP datasphere in a timeframe of 2 years from now
6. Global Testing and supporting migration of different SAP BW systems during carve-out process
7. Global Change management and training our organization on processes and reports
8. Providing support as an expert and process/report owner even after handover to operational areas
9. Continuous development of reporting landscape (e.g. automation initiatives, optimization of data consolidation e.g. SQL, PowerQuery)
What Distinguishes You
To excel in this role, you should have:
* A completed at least 4 years of standard business administration studies, ideally with an additional focus on IT
* Several years of professional experience in finance & controlling area with strong competencies in the design and implementation of reporting solutions in BI systems
* An independently analytical and structured manner of working
* A teamwork player, working in an international environment, high level of communication skills
* A proactive way of working with a high focus on results
* A very high IT affinity, strong knowledge of ERP and BI systems, i.e. SAP BW or IBM Planning Analytics. SQL knowledge is an advantage
