Ocean Infinity is seeking an IT Operations Engineer.
As an IT Operations Engineer, you will be part of a global IT team, reporting to the Head of Enterprise IT. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our onshore IT systems and onshore staff, ensuring seamless operations across the business.

What will you do:
* Monitor, manage and troubleshoot IT & Network issues across the on-shore environments;
* Respond to and manage 1st & 2nd line IT support incidents and requests, ensuring timely resolution in line with service-level agreements (SLAs);
* Respond to, diagnose, and fault-find monitoring alerts;
* Provide technical expertise to staff regarding technical issues on systems and peripherals;
* Manage IT equipment, software licenses, and peripheral devices, ensuring proper procurement and maintenance;
* Collaborate with other IT Teams to support infrastructure, security and network operations;
* Document, schedule, and implement change requests where necessary;
* Perform root cause analysis on critical issues and establish improvements to prevent repeat occurrences;
* Analyse metrics and contribute to operational reporting.
Who you are:
* Proven experience in IT operations, support, or network administration utilising modern Microsoft technologies;
* Strong background in troubleshooting IT & network issues in a corporate environment;
* Experience working with ticketing systems and IT service management (ITSM) tools;
* Familiarity with enterprise environments and supporting end-users globally;
* Understanding of IT security principles and best practices;
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
* Demonstrate a highly customer service-focused approach;
* High attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
* Thoughtful, thorough and conscientious;
* Interested in others and strives to act in the best interests of the team;
* Ability to take ownership and engagement in the work;
* Integrity, credibility and maturity for confidential issues;
* Able to handle sensitive and confidential situations with diplomacy;
* Ability to work as a trusted advisor with senior stakeholders and client representatives;
* Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment;
* Ability to balance contributing to a global remote team and working independently;
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, or related field;
* Microsoft, Cisco, or equivalent certifications (e.g., MCSA, CCNA) are a plus;
Salary for this position: Up to €40,000 per annum
