Job Description: Team Leader Datacenter Infrastructure
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team subdivided into Security, Networks, Windows, Linux, Storage and Backups, Virtualization, DBA, and Cloud areas.
* Motivate, guide, and develop team members, fostering a culture of high performance and personal growth.
* Promote a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging accountability and ownership.
Operational Management
* Oversee incident management, service requests, and changes related to the datacenter infrastructures of 20 clients.
* Collaborate with the L1 support team based in Portugal to ensure efficient escalation and resolution processes.
* Manage and prioritize the team's backlog, ensuring compliance with SLAs and agreed deadlines.
* Act as the main point of contact for major incidents, coordinating resolution efforts and ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders.
Communication and Coordination
* Maintain regular communication with SDMs and SMs, providing updates on operations, incidents, and project progress.
* Coordinate with other teams and departments to align objectives, priorities, and resource allocation.
* Prepare and present performance and KPI reports to management.
* Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency and service quality.
* Ensure compliance with established procedures, internal policies, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in managing datacenter infrastructure operations or similar environments.
* Leadership skills, with experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams of up to 30 people.
* Expertise in incident management, service requests, and change processes.
* Familiarity with Security, Networks, Windows, Linux, Storage and Backups, Virtualization, DBA, and Cloud areas.
* Knowledge of ITIL practices and project management frameworks.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to prioritize and manage competing requests in a dynamic environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills, especially under high-pressure situations like critical incidents.
* Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of French is an advantage.
