About the role As a Customer Activation Executive, you will support and work as business partners with our sales teams to ensure they have all the insight, growth drivers & tools they need to deliver brilliant execution of Diageo's commercial plan to shift consumer & shopper behavior to achieve Diageo's financial and market share ambition.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Brilliant Execution of commercial plans: Drive and facilitate the implementation of channel commercial activation and growth drivers plan, ensuring strategic, commercial & brand objectives.Own planning of activation alongside the sales team to ensure excellent execution in outlets, supervise customer trends and competition activation, and develop insights for corrective action.Lead implementation of key growth drivers initiatives with a focus on 365 Essentials.Ensure efficient choice of outlets per brand and segmentation for all sales drivers activation.Develop pragmatic solutions to overcome operational barriers.Diageo is establishing competitive advantage with customers: Leverage field visits and internal data sources to analyze competition & market to form insights that drive performance.Highlight opportunities within the channel and region to the Head of Channel and Customer Marketing team.Communicate and engage with the sales team behind the execution plan.Manage all material (allocation, distribution) to sales team/outlets and lead logistics concerning outlet activation.Supervise and evaluate our performance: Supervise and report execution results of activities vs set KPIs (ROI, Reach, RR% etc.) to propose corrective actions.Decision maker for: Execution: All logistics concerning outlet activation.Budget responsibilities: Budget tracking of commercial activation.About you: To be successful in this role, you will need:
Customer understanding: Demonstrates understanding of customers' needs and motivations.Outlet Segmentation: Knowledge of all outlets within responsibility.Activation and Execution: Ability to plan for excellence in execution based on the 365 Essentials.Supervising In-Store Compliance: Monitor compliance of in-store execution of brand specific sales drivers.Commercial Foresight: Understanding of spend, volume, margin, and profit performance.Solution Finding: Imaginative in finding solutions to issues and pursuing opportunities.Performance Delivery: Identify clear priorities and focus on them at all times.Authenticity: Build phenomenal relationships with those you work with.Other requirements: Project management knowledge.Ability to prioritize multiple deliverables on tight lead times.Strong analytical/excel skills and commercial drive.Previous channel/customer environment experience is desirable.Working with Us: Flexibility is key to success in our business.
