International public tender for a junior doctoral researcher for the pursuit of research and development activities in the area of Mechanical Engineering, with a view to the development of research activities in the field of UIDP/04044/2020 project.

Education Level: PhD or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications: Doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related areas and holders of a scientific and professional curriculum vitae that reveals an adequate profile for the activity to be developed.
Specific Requirements
The general requirements for admission to the competition are those defined in article 17 of the LTFP and a doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related areas.
The monthly remuneration to be attributed is that of the position corresponding to level 33 of the single remuneration table, according to Decree-Law no. 26-B/2023.
Eligibility criteria
1. Scientific and curricular career evaluation is based on relevance, quality, and up-to-dateness:
2. The scientific and technological production of the last five years considered most relevant by the candidate;
3. Applied or practice-based research activities developed in the last five years and considered to have the greatest impact by the candidate;
4. Outreach and knowledge dissemination activities developed in the last five years, namely in the context of promoting culture and scientific practices, considered to be of greatest relevance by the candidate;
5. Activities in the management of science, technology and innovation programmes, or experience in observing and monitoring the scientific and technological system or higher education, in Portugal or abroad.

The weight of each of the sub-criteria defined above will be as follows: C1) - 50%; C2) - 30%; C3) – 15%; C4) – 5%, with candidates being ranked by the assessment of their scientific and curricular background (APCC) quantified by the following expression:
