SEO Specialist Job Description
The SEO Specialist plays a crucial role in a team dedicated to optimizing website and content performance. Key responsibilities include supporting website editors and webmasters in implementing SEO recommendations from global and local search agencies or tools, focusing on on-page and technical SEO.
Main Responsibilities:
* Implement SEO fixes and recommendations based on analysis of BrightEdge and Google Search Console data
* Monitor and track website performance, providing actionable insights for the brand manager
* Collaborate on larger SEO projects, such as website migrations, with the SEO Expert
Daily Tasks:
1. Serve as the primary point of contact for SEO-related inquiries
2. Analyze Nestlé websites to identify areas for improvement and optimization
3. Measure the effectiveness of implemented strategies using tools like BrightEdge, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console
4. Report on traffic, rankings, conversions, and other key performance indicators
5. Work closely with brand managers to explain SEO complexities and highlight opportunities for improvement
Requirements for Success:
* At least 1 year of SEO experience is required
* Experience working in multicultural environments
* Excellent English language skills for speaking, writing, and editing
* Ability to work with ticketing and workflow tools
* Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
