In our team you will develop and validate operational software processors for the Copernicus CO2M mission, enabling precise greenhouse gas monitoring through advanced Earth observation image generation.
Your main tasks will be:
* Implementation (design, coding and validation) of scientific algorithms.
* Data processing for Earth Observation satellite missions.
* Validation and verification.
* Characterization and investigation of anomalies.
* Code optimization.
WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?
We are looking for graduates in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering or a related field with background and interest in Software Engineering and Earth Observation applications.
If this position sounds like a perfect fit for you, here’s what we’re looking for:
* Experience with C/C++.
* Knowledge of GNU toolset Unix/Linux.
* Skills in scripting (Python, shell, bash…).
* Strong analytical skills.
* Creativity and problem-solving mindset.
* Good organization and planning abilities.
We will also value previous experience and knowledge in the following fields:
* Configuration Management systems (SVN, GIT...).
* Profiling (Valgrind or similar).
* Eclipse Continuous integration systems (Jenkins or similar).
* ECSS standards.
