Data Center Operations Technician (Entry Level)Amazon Web Services (AWS) is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a Data Center Technicians to join our expanding Data Center Operations team as part of our Work-Based Learning Program (WBLP).
This is a unique opportunity for driven self-starters to play a key role in a fast-growing business and to deliver significant value to AWS customers by maintaining the world's largest Cloud Computing Infrastructure.
These positions are entry level and training will be provided.
Candidates should have an interest and basic understanding of computer hardware components and operating systems.

Key Job ResponsibilitiesYou will interact with stakeholders in Spain and across EMEA, so both Spanish and English language proficiency is essential.Working to meet SLA's against assigned trouble tickets via a directed workflow.Being first line touch point for hardware troubleshooting and technical issues.Performing regular server hardware repairs (drives, motherboards, etc.
).Carrying out routine network, server hardware and OS related repairs.Working with cross-functional teams on a regular basis to complete routine work.Engaging with Smart Hands in EU Regional POPs.Adhering to security and safety best practices in the data center.Participating in Data Center power & cooling events.Participating in team meetings for metric analysis and daily/weekly goals achievement.Identifying and helping create documentation for use globally.Identifying and helping create process improvements relevant to the data center environment.Performing server upgrades, rebuilds, scheduled works as required.Interacting with third party vendors & contractors.Contributing to the development of other team members.Minimum RequirementsSTEM classes or vocational course curriculum education.Are 18 years of age or older.Work 10 hour shifts as needed.Knowledge of computer hardware components and operating systems.High school or equivalent diploma.Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system and coordination with Manager.Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
