Founded in 2021, the Airbus Global Business Services (AGBS) unit will be contributing to Airbus’ global success and play a vital role in Airbus’ transformation journey in standardization, harmonization, digitalisation and automation of end-to-end processes (e.g.Procure to Pay) of all overhead functions. Our target is that siloed ways of working / processes will be a relic of the past within the AGBS. You'll be connected with a team that is responsible for the just-in-time delivery of ‘internatco’ (e.g. German design and installation location in France) to Airbus plants mainly outside Germany, especially Saint-Nazaire and Toulouse. And who is also responsible for ordering parts for the A320 Family Final Assembly Line in Hamburg and Paint Shop. Also recently integrated a functional link to the local ordering organization in FAL Mobile USA.
This multicultural team is managing a wide range of more than 50 suppliers across Europe.
The Supply Officer is reflecting the center pillar of the triangle between Ordering, Contracts (Commercial Procurement buyers) and the Supply Chain Quality Manager.
As the job holder your :
Main tasks and responsibilities will be:
● Build and develop the Supply Officer OTOA33 team
● Daily management of the supplier portfolio using existing business tools and future digitalization means:
● Anticipation of risks and drive mitigation actions
● Demand and forecast control
● Communicate effectively to internal customers and external suppliers
● Manage Supply Chain priorities
● Challenge Supplier performance
● Lead & Drive Supplier recoveries
● Understand and define the optimal ordering characteristics and strategy
● Specify and use of process automation
● Use data management tools to drive decisions in the supply chain
● Order Book Management and maintaining MRP Master Data
● Coordinate Supplier Working Parties
● Interact with transnational suppliers (remotely and/or at suppliers' sites) and proactively operate in a procurement community as partner to the Supply Chain Quality Manager and Commercial Buyer, forming the link between the Airbus Procurement organization and OTOA
● Be the 1st point of contact for supply chain queries from from our internal
customers, the production
● Own and optimize Procured Goods Stock
● Create the future: Support Supply Chain and Logistics Transformation projects

Desired skills and education:
● Solid experience ideally in one of the following areas: Supply Chain, Procurement,
Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering.
● Experience in the use and deployment of Digital solutions/tools would be a plus
● Experience of transnational working would be a plus
● MRP expertise and experience of SAP in a manufacturing environment would be a
plus
● Expertise in problem solving
● Good team working ethic
● Negotiation level of English and French
● Project management and LEAN experience would be a plus
● Ability to communicate at all levels of the business
● Willingness to travel (infrequently) and flexibility
● Education in supply chain management: APICS or equivalent would be a plus
