Job Description
We are looking for a Support IT office to join us. The ideal candidate will have experience in a second-level support position (Application support) where the technician had to research independently and contact different colleagues from various departments to achieve resolution.
Responsibilities:
* Expertise in Hardware Diagnosis and Installation
* Operating Systems installation and setup
* Printer management and print servers (able to install printers by network on a print server and map the printer on end-user computers)
* Handheld devices and RS232 devices installation and configuration (barcode readers, thermal printers, PDAs, etc.)
* Inventory management (Guarantee and control that all IT Assets and inventory)
* Manage and coordinate all internal IT projects (External providers and/or internal business units)
* Setup and maintain new Software & Hardware in deep alignment with Global IT
* Experience working on a ticketing system (Service Now, Jira, Mantis, etc.)
* Setup of Server environment (Windows + Linux)
* Able to work with different providers to prepare quotations, new/renew contracts, etc.
* Train End-Users
* Experience with SAP or ERP systems (1st level support) is a huge plus
* Be a backup for other locations in Iberia (PT ES)
* Organization and tracking of daily tasks and priorities
* Work as a team
* Participate in Process Improvement
* Follow superior directions without supervision
* Provide accurate feedback regarding requests
Requirements:
* Degree in Systems Information, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or similar studies
* Specific experience with Windows and iOS Mobile operating systems
* Proficient in Pack Office with a minimum of 2 years
* Experience with SQL Servers, SQL queries, Microsoft SQL 2016 and newer versions
* Valuable knowledge in SAP
Professional Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in general technical support with the ability to understand business processes. Confidentiality on the role: In all IT projects and demands, company strategic decisions, IT area KPIs, and resources.
Additional Requirements:
* Availability to commute to the office in Setúbal 4 times a week (Hybrid Work Model)
